Your dashboard
What every part of your Today screen means, from the header to the sections at the bottom.
Updated 2026-09-07
The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Myzo. It's called Today and it's designed to answer one question fast: what should I work on right now? Here's what everything on it means.
The header
At the top you'll see:
- Your name and avatar — the emoji you picked when you signed up.
- Your XP total — how many points you've earned overall.
- Your streak — how many days in a row you've completed at least one focus block. Miss a day and it resets to zero.
Sections
Below the header, your tasks live in sections. Every task automatically moves between sections as you work on it.
Next Session
The one task you should work on right now. Myzo picks this based on what's due soonest and which task you were last working on.
Tap the big button to start a focus session on it.
Incomplete
Everything you're actively working on but haven't finished yet.
Ready to Turn In
Tasks you've finished on your end but haven't handed in at school yet. When you actually hand it in, tap Turned in to move it out of this section.
Past Due
Tasks whose due date has passed and you haven't finished. Not fun to look at, but easier to catch up if you can see them clearly.
Completed
Everything you've fully wrapped up. Nice work.
Deleted
Tasks you deleted. They hang out here for 30 days so you can restore one if you deleted it by mistake. After 30 days they're gone for good.
Adding a task
Tap the big + Add Task button at the top. See Adding tasks for what happens next.
What's next
- The focus timer — how a focus block actually works.
- Adding tasks — creating your first real task.
- XP + rewards — how your points turn into stuff your parent lets you have.
